RONE Stutter icon

TEMPO-LOCKED STUTTER ENGINERONE Stutter User Manual

Drop a sound in and it is already a stutter - rendered on the first hit, bar-exact, ready to pull straight out of the waveform into your arrangement.

RONE Stucker icon

ONE-KNOB ROLL-UP RISERRONE Stucker User Manual

One knob grabs the loop and rolls it up: the captured slice shrinks tighter and tighter until it screams, then lets go right back into the beat.

RONE Flanger icon

TRANSITION RISER FLANGERRONE Flanger User Manual

A flanger you play by hand. Sweep the comb yourself, or engage INFINITE for endless bar-locked rises and falls, with feedback, stereo offset and a rhythmic gate.

RONE Reverse Reverb icon

TEMPO-SYNCED REVERSE REVERBRONE Reverse Reverb User Manual

Drop in a sound, choose how many bars the swell should take, and RONE Reverse Reverb renders a reversed reverb tail that lands exactly on the beat - shaped with fades, filters, stereo width and a rhythmic tremolo.

RONE AFTERSPACE icon

CREATIVE REVERB, DELAY AND ATMOSPHERE DESIGNERRONE AFTERSPACE User Manual

Huge, cinematic spaces that stay clean in the mix: a large musical reverb with built-in ducking, a tail de-esser, tempo-synced echo and bloom, in one plugin.

RONE Analyzer icon

THE MIX, MEASUREDRONE Analyzer User Manual

One window that is always on: a third-octave spectrogram with a reference record drawn over it, level meters, a vectorscope, EBU R128 loudness, a bar-locked scope - fed by your DAW's master through the Bridge, by what the computer plays, by an input or by a file.

RONE Throw icon

ONE-KNOB ATMOSPHERE THROWRONE Throw User Manual

One knob throws whatever is playing into a tempo-locked atmosphere: a dotted-8th ping-pong delay whose feedback loop cleans itself, opening into a wash - and the original sound is never touched.

RONE Clipper icon

HARD CLIPPER THAT SHOWS YOU WHAT IT CUTRONE Clipper User Manual

A hard clipper you can trust with your eyes: the waveform after the clip stage, the removed peaks in blue, one CLIP knob - and a LOW CUT that keeps kick and bass out of the clipper.

RONE Rise icon

ONE KNOB. THE WHOLE BUILD-UP.RONE Rise User Manual

Turn one knob up over the phrase and the mix becomes a build-up - the lows leave, the reverb opens, the echoes climb. Snap it to zero and the drop hits, with the tail still spilling into it. Or press GO and let it land on the bar by itself.

RONE Iron icon

DROP A VOCAL. PLAY METAL.RONE Iron User Manual

Drop any vocal and it becomes a metallic chop instrument: flattened to the note you pick, sliced onto your keys, rung through a comb tuned to that note and thrown from left to right. Play it from the piano roll, or let the GROOVE write the pattern.

RONE 1176 icon

FET LIMITING AMPLIFIERRONE 1176 User Manual

The FET limiter that made vocals jump out and drums hit harder - INPUT drives it, OUTPUT makes up, four ratio buttons and the famous ALL. With a SCOPE that shows the wave and the gain reduction locked to the bar.

RONE 2A icon

OPTICAL LEVELING AMPLIFIERRONE 2A User Manual

The optical leveler behind a thousand vocals and bass tracks - two big knobs, a switch, and a smooth, program-dependent hand on the level. With a SCOPE that shows the wave and the gain reduction locked to the bar.

RONE Sidechain icon

DRAWN SIDECHAIN · PHASE · SPACERONE Sidechain User Manual

Draw the duck on your bass and let every kick restart it - silent at the kick's first sample, open exactly where you drew it. Then turn the bass's sub to meet the kick, and cut only where the two really collide.

RONE Delay icon

THE SIMPLE DELAYRONE Delay User Manual

One TIME dial with every note value written on it, a filter inside the loop, four knobs - and a screen that shows the sound going in and every echo coming out.

GETTING STARTED

Install, activate, update

Every RONE product is installed, updated and licensed through one application, the RONE Plugins Center for Windows and macOS. You never download individual installers by hand.

  1. Create your account, or buy. A purchase or an ALL ACCESS trial at roneaudio.com/pricing comes with a free RONE account; RONE Clipper needs only the free account.
  2. Download the Center from your account page and sign in with the same e-mail and password.
  3. Press INSTALL on a plugin. The Center downloads the signed installer, verifies it and installs it; when the card shows INSTALLED, start or rescan your DAW.
  4. Updates appear on the same card: UPDATE on one plugin, or UPDATE ALL at the top.

Windows puts the VST3 in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\RONE\ and the standalone apps in C:\Program Files\RONE Plugins\; macOS uses /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/, /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ and /Applications/. The PDF manuals are copied next to the apps, in Manuals\ on Windows and /Users/Shared/RONE Plugins/Manuals/ on macOS.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Straight answers

Where do I find the manual of a RONE plugin?

Three places: here on the site, as a web page per plugin with every control, preset and workflow; as the same manual in PDF (the download button on each page); and inside the RONE Plugins Center, where every installed plugin has a Manual entry in its card menu (the three dots on the card) that opens the PDF from the install folder.

Which DAWs and formats do RONE plugins support?

VST3, AU and Standalone on macOS 10.15 Catalina or later (Intel and Apple Silicon), and VST3 and Standalone on Windows 64-bit. Any DAW that loads VST3 or AU works: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig Studio, REAPER and others. AAX and CLAP are not included, so Pro Tools is not supported. RONE Analyzer is a standalone application fed by its Bridge and Channel plugins.

How are RONE plugins installed and updated?

Through one free desktop app, the RONE Plugins Center, for Windows and macOS. Sign in with your roneaudio.com account, press INSTALL on a plugin, and the Center downloads the signed installer, verifies it and installs it; updates appear on the same card (UPDATE, or UPDATE ALL at the top). Close a plugin's standalone app before updating it: a running app keeps the old executable locked.

On how many computers can I use my plugins?

Two at a time, on every kind of licence. A computer can be released from the account page at roneaudio.com/account to free a slot. Licensing is tied to the account, not to a key: the plugin reads the licence the Center writes when you sign in.

Do the plugins work offline?

Yes. After signing in and installing, a lifetime licence keeps working offline for up to 90 days between checks and ALL ACCESS for 8 days; the Center confirms the licence again whenever it is online.

Is there a free trial?

ALL ACCESS has a 14-day free trial that unlocks every RONE plugin, monthly or yearly, with no charge until it ends. A lifetime licence for a single plugin is a one-off purchase without a trial. RONE Clipper is free with a free RONE account.

Where is the plugin's version shown, and how do I report a problem?

Click the R logo or the plugin name in the header: the plugin flips to its back panel with the version, format and licence holder. When writing to support, include that version, your DAW and operating system, and what you did right before the problem; RONE plugins also write a crash report that the Center uploads the next time it runs.
