RONE PLUGINS

Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: 23 SEPTEMBER 2026

RONE Audio makes the RONE plugins, the RONE Plugins Center and this website. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, and who else is involved. It covers roneaudio.com, your RONE account, the Plugins Center and our Instagram campaigns.

Your account

When you create an account we keep your email address and, if you give it, your name. Your password is never stored, only a salted one-way hash of it. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us; we use the photo only on your account page.

Staying signed in on the website uses a token kept in your browser's local storage. The server keeps only a hash of that token.

Purchases and payments

Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details, calculates tax and sends your receipts and invoices; we never see or store your card number. Paddle tells us your name, email address, country, what you bought, the state of your subscription and a customer id that opens Paddle's customer portal from your account page.

If you bought through Lemon Squeezy, our earlier store, we keep that order id and license key so we can support you.

The RONE Plugins Center

Every license runs on 2 computers. To count them, the Plugins Center registers each computer it signs in on with a fingerprint hash of the machine (not your files), the computer's name and its operating system, plus a sign-in token that we store hashed. You can release a computer from your account page at any time.

If the Plugins Center or a plugin crashes, it can send us a crash report with the software version, the operating system and the technical error, so we can fix the bug. It contains no audio and no project files.

Emails

We send the emails your account needs: setting or resetting a password, signing in to the Plugins Center, and a reminder 48 hours before a free trial ends. We also send occasional product news and offers. Emails are delivered by Resend. If you do not want product emails, tell us and we will stop.

Instagram, giveaways and FOUNDERS

  • If you comment a keyword on one of our Instagram posts, our system reads that comment (your username and its text) through Instagram's official API and sends you a direct message with the link you asked for. We keep the comment and the message we sent so we do not message you twice.
  • When you claim a giveaway, a trial or a deal, we store your email address, your Instagram handle and a salted hash of your IP address, so one person cannot claim the same offer twice.
  • A FOUNDERS 100 member's seat number and the name they choose for the plate are shown publicly on roneaudio.com/founders and inside the plugins.

Website analytics and cookies

This website uses the Meta Pixel to measure visits and how our Instagram and Facebook ads perform. The Pixel sets Meta cookies in your browser and sends Meta the pages you view. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google. Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard server logs. When you open one of our short links (roneaudio.com/r/...) we count the click and the campaign it came from. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that run RONE for us: Paddle (payments and tax), Cloudflare (hosting and our database), Resend (email delivery), Google (sign-in and fonts), Meta (Instagram messages and the Pixel) and GitHub (where crash reports are tracked). Each of them processes the data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it, and your rights

We keep your account and licenses for as long as your account exists, because your licenses live in it. Payment records stay with Paddle for as long as tax law requires. Claim records are kept to stop abuse of the offer they belong to.

You can see your details, licenses and computers on your account page. Email us to get a copy of your data, to correct it, or to have your account deleted. Deleting your account also removes your licenses.

Security and changes

Passwords and sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes, every connection uses HTTPS, and only we can access the database. RONE products are not directed at children under 16. When the way we handle data changes we update this page, and the date at the top shows the last change.
