About Rone Stucker

Rone Stucker is a one-knob performance effect: turn it and the plugin captures the loop, then rolls the captured slice tighter and tighter — halving and halving again until the audio screams.

Everything is bar-locked. The capture starts on the grid, the roll-up accelerates musically, and the release drops you straight back into the running beat with zero smearing — like the DJ never left.

It is the fastest way to build tension in a psytrance arrangement: one automation lane, one knob, one scream.

KEY FEATURES

What it does

One-knob design

A single control runs the whole effect — perfect for live performance and simple automation.

Bar-locked capture

The loop is grabbed on the grid, so the roll always starts musically.

Accelerating roll-up

The captured slice shrinks tighter and tighter, building tension automatically.

Clean release

Let go and the dry beat is right there — no gap, no phase smear.

Automation-friendly

Draw one ramp and the whole build writes itself.

Zero latency, low CPU

Safe on the master bus, light enough for every group.

IN THE TRACK

When you reach for Rone Stucker

Feature lists don't sell to producers. Recipes do.

ONE AUTOMATION LANE

The whole build, drawn once

Draw a single ramp on AMOUNT across the last four bars. The engine grabs the loop at the grid line and shrinks the captured slice as the value climbs — the entire build writes itself from one line, and the release drops you back into the running beat.

AMOUNT 0 → 100% over 4 bars

HANDS ON

Played live, not programmed

One knob is the whole instrument. Ride it up by hand for as long as the moment wants, back off when it has said enough. It behaves the same every time because the capture always starts on the grid.

SYNC ON · SMOOTH 35%
LOW CUT 80 Hz to keep the sub clean
PAST THE TOP

Where it stops being a stutter

Keep going past the point where the repeats blur together. Under about 50 ms the loop is retriggering faster than you can hear as rhythm, and the captured slice turns into a pitched tone that climbs — that is the scream at the end of the build.

AMOUNT 85 – 100%
RANGE 8 octaves · SMOOTH 20%
